Registration

Registration and payment of fees will be absolutely necessary for attending any of the Congress Events. The form must be accompanied by the payment in Euros (€). No registration will be considered until the payment is received.

In order to ensure that your registration information is processed quickly and correctly, the organizers request that you register using the online registration form. Your credit card and personal information will be protected from unauthorized access by an online security system (SSL).

If for any reason you are unable to use the online registration form, please fill out the registration Form (pdf format) and send it to the secretariat via fax OR mail. Any inquiries about registration or requests for additional forms should be addressed to GRUPO PACIFICO, (General Secretariat)

Official Language

The official language of the Symposium is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Symposium Office at the Venue and On-Site Registration

The Symposium Office and the on-site registration desk will be open at the Symposium Venue on Thursday, November 13, 2008 between 8:00 to 19:00h; and on Friday 14, 2008 will be opened from 8:00h until 18:00h.

Badges and Security

It is essential that you wear your personal badge at all times while in the Symposium venue and during the Social Events, as it is the official entrance pass to scientific sessions. For the Social Events, it will also be necessary to present the corresponding ticket.

Lunches and coffee breaks

2 Lunches and 2 coffee-breaks (only mornings), will be provided by the Symposium organization.

Attendance Certificate

Attendance Certificates will be issued by the General Secretariat and given to the registered participants on the last day.

Pending Amounts:

Any differences arising in the registration fees will be collected on site by the Conference Secretariat. In case that registration funds were wired late or, for unexplained reasons, were not credited on the Conference account at the time of registration, a photocopy of the receipt will be required. If no proof of payment can be presented, full payment will be required on site.

 

Hotel Accommodation

A number of rooms at Barcelona Plaza Hotel 4* (venue) have been reserved for the Symposium participants during the period of November 13 to 15 November, 2008. Hotel accommodation may be reserved by using the Accommodation Form (on line or pdf), which must reach GRUPO PACIFICO before October 15, 2008, together with the payment..

The hotel prices include bed and breakfast. The reservations will be confirmed upon reception of the total stay payment. No reservation will be guaranteed and processed without the payment. You will receive confirmation of the hotel booking indicating the address and details; the confirmation letter must be presented upon arrival at the hotel.

Any change you wish to introduce in the hotel bookings must be addressed directly to the General Secretariat (GRUPO PACIFICO) e-mail or fax, not to the hotel.

Method of Payment:

Payments may be remitted:

- By credit card, (Visa, Master Card, Euro Card). Please complete the corresponding section of the Accommodation Form.

The total stay will be charged as Hotel deposit by GRUPO PACIFICO, the extra services (minibar, telephone, Internet connection…), will be paid directly to the Hotel.

Cancellation Policy

- A cancellation fee of 20,00 Euros (management fee) will be charged if refund is requested in writing from 1st September, 2008

- For cancellations received from 15 September 2008 to 15 October 2008, first night will be charged as cancellation fees.

- For cancellations after this date (October 16), and “No Shows” the total stay should be able to be charged into your credit card by the Hotel.
